Don’t use “Christian Nationalists”.
Instead, say “Nationalist Christians”.
Or “Nat-C”, for short.

@dgar Nat-C is National Conservatism.
Yes, that is a thing.
por que no los dos?
They are not all that different.
"National conservatism is a variant of conservatism that prioritizes the defense of national and cultural identity..."
I assume "cultural identity" are people they consider white, which is an ever moving target for Nazis.
National conservative tries to work within the bounds of democracy, and Nazis are generally violent authoritarians.
The Nazis came from a twisting of National Conservatism with far right ideologies.
Heh, I do not doubt that.
I would add that the first line was directly for you, and every line after that would be me just over explaining for the sake of adding something to the thread.
Not everyone is in on the joke.
Take care.
@clolsonus @dgar that was my thought too... The order is pretty irrelevant to me.
Such a large part of Christianity feels to be mainly political in nature.
Christo-fascists is my term of choice. Of course, calling a spade a spade and a Nazi a Nazi is also right.
I follow American and German politics and wrt religion it's quite different over there

Nat-C it is!
How about Christian Terrorists, like they always call others Islamist Terrorists?
@dgar nationalism is the ideology of the maintenance of nations.
Many are nationalists, christian nationalism is usually seen as more extreme than nationalism as it creates a nation around christianity rather than region. However they would have similar features such as inclusion/ exclusion of individuals, police, centralised power, national mythology ( even if not christian)
Nationalism is not limited to concentration camps, but it does still lead to division and war and is a common ideology.
@dgar
History of Nationalism was anti-Christian.
History of Christianity was globalist.
"Christian Nationalist" is an oxymoron.
