Day 1: Which country have I watched the most dramas from (2025)? Including currently watched, I’m at 25 dramas watched. 1 #CDrama, 1 #KReality and 23 #KDrama. The crown goes to South Korea yet again, for the 6th year running 👑 #EYDC2025

Day 2: Favourite actress discovered in 2025? Difficult contenders, my nominees were Han Ji Min, Ahn Eun Jin and Kim Min Ha. I’ve decided that this award goes to Ahn Eun Jin, who I’ve seen in both #DynamiteKiss and #HospitalPlaylist. She’s a big reason as to why DK is so fun to watch. #EYDC2025

Day 3: Favourite actor discovered in 2025? Down to two, Lee Joon Hyuk and Yoo Yeon Seok. I will say that Yoo Yeon Seok is great at singing, however thanks to his performance in #MercyForNone and #LoveScout, this goes to Lee Joon Hyuk. Completely different roles, but great in both. #EYDC2025

Day 4: Favourite OST from a 2025 drama? After MUCH deliberation, my favourite OST of a 2025 drama is Test me by Paul Blanco in #LoveScout! open.spotify.com/track/4tzr5n... However… The 2025 Drama with the best overall OSTs belongs to #TheFirstFrost. 8 of them are in my drama playlist 🙂‍↕️ #EYDC2025

Day 5: A visually beautiful 2025 drama. My contenders for this are #WhenLifeGivesYouTangerines and #TyphoonFamily. Both shows use cinematography to elevate the stories, but this award goes to #TyphoonFamily. The stylised end cards were always nice to see, especially the last one. #EYDC2025
Day 6: A drama I dropped in 2025 Officially this goes to #TheAtypicalFamily. Despite me enjoying superhero stuff, I just couldn’t get very far. Also #StudyGroup, maybe I’ll revisit it. Unofficially, #DynamiteKiss might qualify for a dropped drama, but I haven’t decided that yet. #EYDC2025

Day 7: Favourite character of 2025. Difficult, but I picked Sang Yan in #TheFirstFrost. Sure he might’ve been too ‘doormat-like’ at times, but he really cared for Wen Yi Fan, always being very careful and attentive to her needs, because it was best for her, thus also the best for him. #EYDC2025

Day 8: Standout side character of 2025. I was hesitant when I found out Park Sung Hoon’s role in #SquidGame, but he really did the character justice, making Hyun Ju one of the better Squid Game characters. Was so disappointed when she got killed off, but alas, no one really wins. #EYDC2025

Day 9: Did you watch older dramas in 2025? I'm gonna say older is anything before 2024. Surprisingly only 4 this year, with the oldest being #WokOfLove (2018). Not the best KDrama but it introduced me to 짜장면 and 탕수육, so it was all worth it. #EYDC2025

Day 10: Did you rewatch any dramas in 2025? Nope, I rarely rewatch anything more than a scene or even an episode. Plenty of new and old stuff to watch still! #EYDC2025
Day 11: A drama that taught you something new. There were quite a few messages throughout 2025’s dramas, but what stood out for me was in the KDrama #OurUnwrittenSeoul, specifically Yoo Mi Ji’s motto of today being unknown, not set in stone. #EYDC2025
Day 12: A platonic relationship you loved. Kept thinking about this so much, that I missed the 12th. But I guess I’ll go with the friendship between Ju Ji Hoon’s character in #TheTraumaCode with Choo Young Woo’s. The way it went from complete disbelief to full trust is just great. #EYDC2025

Day 13: A drama you found boring. My lowest rated KDrama of the year, #TastefullyYours. Honestly had no clue what they wanted to tell with this story. Didn’t really see chemistry with the leads, the food was interesting, but not as much as other shows. Meh. #EYDC2025

Day 14: A writer or director that caught your attention. Not a drama writer/director, but Zhu Yi who wrote the novels behind the #CDrama “When I Fly Towards You”, “The First Frost” and “Hidden Love”. The stories are all great and overall well rounded, but very memorable. #EYDC2025

Day 15: Favourite drama poster of 2025 There weren’t really any memorable posters which stuck out to me, but #OurUnwrittenSeoul and #GenieMakeAWish were my finalists, with this poster from the latter taking the crown. #EYDC2025
Day 16: Best actress of 2025 The award goes to IU for her double role of Geum Myeong and Ae Sun in #WhenLifeGivesYouTangerines. It’s so easy to forget IU is an artist first, actor second in this role. The runner up is Park Bo Young for Mi Rae/Mi Ji in #OurUnwrittenSeoul. #EYDC2025

Day 17: Best actor of 2025 This award goes to Lee Chae Min for his role as the King in #BonAppetitYourMajesty. The court scene where he learns the truth is one of this year’s highlights. The runner up would be Lee Jun Ho in #TyphoonFamily. #EYDC2025

Day 18: Your most-watched genre of 2025 This still goes to romance, however the diversity of genres has expanded this year. My other top categories would probably include Revenge and Fake Marriages, notably #PerfectMarriageRevenge, #WouldYouMarryMe and #MarryMyHusband. #EYDC2025

Day 19: A drama that made you laugh. Nothing really stands out this year when it comes to humorous moments. I will give this award to #MyDearestNemesis though, it had some funny moments especially with their younger selves, plus both of the leads have great comedic timing! #EYDC2025

Day 20: A drama that made you sad or cry Goes to #WhenLifeGivesYouTangerines. A show that will show all the failures and pains of life, sprinkled with enough happiness to keep you going. #EYDC2025

Day 21: A drama that surprised you. Going with #MoonRiver. The leads handled the body swap well and you could really see them embody each other’s mannerisms. Also yay to no love triangles! #EYDC2025

Day 22: A drama that deserved the hype. When #TheTraumaCode (Heroes on Call) dropped, seeing everyone give out rave reviews had me doubtful. But it really maintained its steam throughout the short 8 episode runtime, which I believe kept it fresh without filler. #EYDC2025

Day 23: A drama that made you think. Easily #BeyondTheBar. Its meticulous and multifaceted cases made this one a clear winner. You could argue both sides in some cases within this drama. I had more to say, but kept delaying this post so now I’m behind and forgot everything 🤦‍♂️ #EYDC2025
Day 24: Favourite costumes of 2025. #TyphoonFamily takes the crown for their characterful wardrobe. The progression of Kang Tae Poong’s seriousness by transitioning from a frat-like blazer, to a more business oriented fit but still in his style towards the end, is subtle storytelling. #EYDC2025

Day 25: Sweetest romance of 2025. The winner are Choi Hyun Wook and Moon Ga Young in #MyDearestNemesis. Meeting in a game, and just being adults with a really childish but cute side made this the winner. #EYDC2025

Day 26: Most disappointing drama of 2025. This really has to be #DynamiteKiss. The title, first episode, and the leads, all pointed to a strong drama. Yet it failed. Good characters had mishandled fates (Yu Ha Yeong), and the leads’ chemistry fizzled out fast, thanks to their lies. #EYDC2025

Day 27: A drama you want more people to watch. I know a good chunk of KDrama Bluesky has seen this, but #LoveScout is a story done right. A drama doesn’t have to be fully original, it just has to pull the right emotions, and the leads do so well. Plus its OST winning helps! #EYDC2025
