Drama Recs Challenge

Day 6: An Office Romance

There are hundreds of these ones so I just got to pick one: Love Scout - Perhaps nothing genre breaking but I like the tension and chemistry and there are a lot of cute moments.

The angst arc has arrived in #KDrama #LoveScout It was 10,000% predictable, having been telegraphed from near the beginning with the delicate subtle finesse of drunken elephants fighting, BUT I'm still fine with it. Because it's arrived halfway through episode 9/12. Which it means it simply cannot be dragged on ad infinitum, as would be the case in a 16 ep Drama. Less really is MORE (bearable)
@EllenInEdmonton @kdramarama Indeed. Watching #KDrama #LoveScout last night, there was a scene where 2 workmates had an intense disagreement over a work assignment, resulting in a strained atmosphere. The solution? A senior manager said "I know, let's have an event where they have to drink"  ðŸ˜¡ I FFd through the whole drunken scene without missing anything of importance to the story

Starting #KDrama #LoveScout straight after #DongJaeTheGoodOrTheBastard without even realizing they have the same ML. I like him, but I was SUPER excited to see Song Young Kyu. Or rather, to HEAR him.

I was disappointed that it was just another guest role for the actor I think of as The Voice. Checking his MDL page shows that I am far from alone in finding his voice both distinctive and sexy. I fell in love with his voice the first time I heard it, really wish he'd get to use it more

Sure #LoveScout had its flaws: the 2ML and 2FL were cute but not really fully fleshed out, feel like their connection never peaked and their conclusion was just a tie-off— but hey, not that big of a deal to complain about. I have never really followed Han Ji-min— her drama Behind Your Touch (which I started watching because of Lee Min-ki) is stalled on my watchlist— she was good but not great (reminded me of SHK in NWABU but with more feelings?) Fortunately 1ML gave this drama the needed oomph.
#WhenthePhoneRings was interesting in the first couple of episodes until it just lost me with the FL storyline. I just hate it when the female character is a damsel in distress to the point of ridiculousness. The ML too, was wattpadd-character predictable. I pushed until halfway through the series before totally losing interest. #LoveScout though, was refreshingly grounded and did not overexert itself (problems were problems but were not overblown to end of the world proportions). #kdrama

Soft-spoilers for both:

* Several times leads cross a busy street running with green light. They made it !
* White truck: They were in it !
* The one being awake admiring the one who is asleep on very close distance. Almost going to touch with a caring finger: Not !
* I am watching two modern, slow-moving kdramas simultaneous .
* Both well played, that helps.

A train-analogy for watching kdrama.
I ´m ex-trainworker after all.

I was in slow-train Love Scout, episode 4
But fast-moving, exciting The Queen Who Crowns passed by, I jumped in that train .
Left that train at the end, including ep 13 and 14.
Moved back to slow-train, in another carriage : Motel California.
Till episode 9, then walked to the other carriage with Love Scout, ep 6 now,
Same train, two dramas.
But train is moving !
