[P] I think I understand now why Esoteric Ebb clicked with me where Disco Elysium really didn't. In DE's world, being a creative, plural, "dysfunctional" person is a recipe for defeat, disaster, depression, and substance abuse. I can't say how true to reality that is, but it isn't what I'd want out of that. Have you ever experienced Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol comic run, or the TV show? It's kinda pertinent.

[P] If that isn't understood, then my incompatibility with DE won't be, either. I'm not saying that it's a bad game, but I am saying that it is the neurotypical creature that it is. Analysing singular multiplicity from the outside. It has those biases, in having those biases it sees experiences contrary to people soup as inherently negative and inferior. As expressed via the main character. It's... ignorant.
