@kkarhan I'm not even particularly keen on the electronic handbrake brake my latest VW has, having already once accidentally pulled it whilst driving on the motorway and trying to get a vape from the cupholder - I just got a gong warning rather than a hard stop as Cariad have at least realised /someone/ is going to do that, but it wouldn't have happened with a normal handbrake lever - also when you change the rear pads you need to connect to OBD2 using VCDS or similar to put the brakes into service mode, and I never use the cupholders for drinks as anything that might spill in the centre console is likely to knacker the switch that operates the brake..
