Sending a cheque over to the PSF would cut about $ 100 from the donation . An international money order would be an Odyssey.
I just wanted to stress that the PSF using PayPal is in contradiction with their letter seen PayPal's provenance/ownership.

@whitequark There may be things I don't like about Python as a language, but I really can't really say anything negative about the culture of the PSF.
A million and a half US to sell out their principles and they said no. Glad to see there are still good people out there.

People from these companies have significant influence on where the language goes, and there’s concern they will pollute (or are already polluting) the developer culture around the language.
