I bet Harvard is pretty pissed it doesn’t have a comma named after it.
@Girl_a_whirl if they have a football team they probably have a coma named after it at least 🤷‍♀️
@Girl_a_whirl Harvard seems more like a place that identifies with the colon.
@Girl_a_whirl why not the famous Harvard colon?
@szbalint @Girl_a_whirl Like the Wellesley period. (showing self out)
@Girl_a_whirl Maybe they'll name something after Harvard 400+ years after it was founded, like the comma as we know it. Any decade now.😀
@Girl_a_whirl After all their capitulation to the Pigs, Harvard doesn't deserve half a quotation mark.
@Girl_a_whirl i'm addicted to that frickin' comma
@Girl_a_whirl For additional salt, why not name a coma after Harvard?
@Girl_a_whirl Sure it does. It's the one in the students' loan balance.
@michelestrider
It's the Harvard hash (#); the character before 3 pairs of hex digits, describing an RGB colour, and as distinct from the pound sign (also #) but which means 'number', not 'lbs' and not the £(GB pound)
@Girl_a_whirl

@gregalotl

Dang, look at you, bringing the actual factuals

@Girl_a_whirl

@michelestrider
It's what I do (sometimes 😇); plausible sounding 'it COULD be a fact' facts. A lot subtler and fun than Trumpian streams of un-consciousness!
@Girl_a_whirl
@Girl_a_whirl Panic! At the Disco is an example of a Harvard exclamation.
@Girl_a_whirl Some people refer to the trailing comma after the last item of a list (as in “1, 2, 3,”), used to improve editability of code, as the “MIT comma”
@Girl_a_whirl Harvard has always been jealous of "Oxford,".
