How should the IT-ignorant respond, if at all?

@SusiArnott @MastodonEngineering if you're not running a mastodon server, you're all set.

If you are, best to update your version to one of these, as they fix some issues.

@liquidlamp @SusiArnott @MastodonEngineering Exactly, this account is there for server admins to follow and not miss security updates.

I sure am looking forward to using quote posts on my server. 4.5 can’t come soon enough. Although, I’m happy with how it’s been rolled out, because it’s getting the kinks out before being GA’d to everyone.

@MastodonEngineering Do you plan to allow users to add image/video to quotes, please?

@MastodonEngineering

Did you move quote functionality to the reply button, where it should have been from the beginning?

@MastodonEngineering i had to manually add the OpenSSL 3.3.1 GEM in order to use it with the current OpenSSL 3.6.

Was this added to the Gemfile in 4.4.6 or does it still need manual patching?

@vamp898 This has been changed in 4.4.6 and you should not need this change

@MastodonEngineering updating the following feed seems to be bugged. The pull down refresh acts like its so rigid and then the new posts just appear at the top with sometimes old posts appearing instead of new ones.
@MastodonEngineering the explorer page is no longer scrollable with a set number of posts.
@MastodonEngineering Thank you for keeping it sweet πŸ™
