I want a stable operating system like Linux Mint, but with new technology like Fedora.

I also like a simple and modern design like GNOME and the Ubuntu theme.

What Linux distribution combines all these things?

#gnome #ubuntu #linuxmint #fedora #linux

@thinkroot99 Zorin OS
@voitech I used ZorinOS - I can say that it is exactly like Linux Mint, only the design is different.
@thinkroot99 I think you might like EndeavourOS or Manjaro
@SergoZar I don't like either of these two systems.
@thinkroot99 you want fedora workstation with yuru theme. All your requirements are included
@lecroix74 I would like to see Fedora with the Yaru theme and a release every year.

@thinkroot99 looks like Fedora Workstation actually ticks most of your boxes except for the dichotomy between stability and new packages.

But speaking from my own experience, Fedora has been really good about stability too. If you want to be careful, just give it a few weeks after a release before upgrading to the new major version.

@mikael Yes, Fedora has been quite stable in recent years. The problem is that it doesn't have an LTS version.
@thinkroot99 Ah. No, sorry, then I have nothing of value to add. 🙂

@thinkroot99

Maybe #RhinoLinux ?

Based on #Ubuntu but rolling release for latest software.
Uses #Xfce but highly customized to look modern.

@klu9 #RhinoLinux would be much more attractive if it used GNOME.

It's a distribution to be considered. Thank you.
