I'll see how I'm feeling when I reach the mohair-optional sections, I guess. I don't usually like the way his MKALs look so I wanted to have some variety available to me to try to exert more control.

Playing w 2 skeins so far. Exploring this quasi-autumnal cream speckled yarn from HedgeHog. Maybe add this darkish gray, a gold or golden brown, a deep blue, or maybe a deep berry brown? Pop a mohair note somewhere? It was hard to see in artificial light. Not sure about aqua for this #MKAL though. Note - color off in these shots

Speckled one is HedgeHog Fibers. I have to read up on them, looks like they roll out subtle variations of a dye lot over a period of months, a new to me approach. Want to see how people work with that. Have 2 other skeins in this colorway (#s 7, 8 and 9, Sept-Nov). This one is #9, more cream/autumnal than other 2. Thinking, thinking... we'll see what the daylight has to say about all this!
