Religion is a choice. That’s how it should be. No one should be forced into a religion or made to practice certain aspects of a religion that they are not comfortable with. Unfortunately, this is not the case for everyone. Some people in certain countries can be persecuted for leaving their religion, converting to another religion, being atheist or apostasy. (This post will focus ONLY on apostasy)

13 counties carry the death penalty for apostasy. Those countries are Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Mauritania, Maldives, Pakistan, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

People should be able to renounce their religion without the possibility of death. However, for the residents of these countries, that possibility is not a reality, and they are often forced to live a lie for their own protection.

@tropical.wolf

The ruling on forcing or forcing someone to convert to Islam is that this is forbidden and not permissible. Quran 2:256.

Doesn't take away from what's happening in Afghanistan.

@tropical.wolf

I'm telling you what God says in the Quran and what it is supposed to be implemented.

I don't know what you mean by Afghanistan, but it is not permissible and forbidden to force someone to convert to Islam. He is not even considered a Muslim.
