Monday is a holiday here in the US, meaning that today is one of the best days of the year to push your untested vibe code to production. Just remember, if the code would have worked when tested, it would work in production, so there's basically no risk.

@jerry

It works even better on a long weekend because the systems have more time to get used to the new code!

@chieroglyph exactly! It also gives the on call team a chance to earn some overtime pay or comp time as the case may be
@jerry Agreed, start the weekend off right with a sense of accomplishment!
@jerry FORTUNE FAVORS THE BOLDLY VIBE-CODING
@jerry if you're not vibe-coding in prod you're doing it wrong!
@jerry And make sure your contact information is slightly out of date and your documentation is only mostly complete. This will endear you to prod support by giving them an opportunity to have a hands on experience with the new code.
@jerry And on the anniversary of Skynet day too.
@jerry the users test it once in production, so what's the big deal? And there are never malfunctions, only user errors.
@jerry "Oh, the AI deleted the relevant test cases"
@jerry Even better, you can ask the AI to confirm it works, and rely on that.
@jerry "if the code would have worked" 😆
