@EUCommission

cars and airplanes are amazing mobility devices, they have their place in a sustainable future for Europe, but structuring the entire society and economy around them has been a profound mistake that needs serious effort to reverse.

Bikes and trains (and their powerful combination!) should rise much higher in people's preferences but that can only happen if the convenience and price become irresistible.

@EUCommission it gives me comfort to see that those cycle routes still reach into Scotland. We're no awa tae bide awa, we're no awa tae leave ye!

We'll be back, and hopefully this time we'll have our own seat at the table.

@EUCommission Excellent. Please also include regulations to forestall ebike planned obsolescence, ensuring a right to repair and guaranteeing replacement parts. May require standardization. Hard as it may seem, cleaning up the e-waste later will be worse. 10M bicycles manufactured per year is a lot.
@EUCommission It's nice to see the EuroVelo map still connects the UK to the EU. We still love cycling at home and throughout Europe! We may be divided by politics, but we're still united by fresh air, exercise, and getting from A to B safely (Aberdeen to Brussels?).
P.S. Please keep sending the Schwalbe Marathons.
@EUCommission Please try this tiny measure to boost cycling a lot: I call it "a perfect 10 before school": Ten minutes before school starts no cars allowed near schools. This untangles a lot of traffic. Trades pollution and other danger for social interaction and health. Limits traffic bottlenecks.
@steltenpower somewhat doubt the social media team is the place to petition for policy change
@EUCommission Very good, like most consumer oriented proposals of the EU. Nice to see an EU post without some Saint Petersburg keyboard-warrior writing anti EU drivel.
@EUCommission stop sending this kind of messages . First stop the #chatcontrol #css act.
@EUCommission Where I live in Europe, biking infrastructure is great and growing, and I am really grateful for that! And people do bike! Such a sharp contrast from the US (at least the parts I lived in)
@EUCommission please Prague needs more dedicated bike lanes...
