cars and airplanes are amazing mobility devices, they have their place in a sustainable future for Europe, but structuring the entire society and economy around them has been a profound mistake that needs serious effort to reverse.
Bikes and trains (and their powerful combination!) should rise much higher in people's preferences but that can only happen if the convenience and price become irresistible.
@EUCommission it gives me comfort to see that those cycle routes still reach into Scotland. We're no awa tae bide awa, we're no awa tae leave ye!
We'll be back, and hopefully this time we'll have our own seat at the table.
