The Agender KiwiI can't wait until #LinuxPhones are good enough to be mainstream. Unfortunately, they're just not up to par yet.
Google and Apple have a monopoly on mobile phones, and it shows. And then companies like Xiaomi actively make it worse.
If you want to take a look at Linux Phones, I's recommend a secondary phone. Currently, #PostmarketOS and #SailfishOS are the two largest ones, AFAIK

โ@somebody it should be mandated by law that there should be options for you to unlock the bootloader and get boot, on android these could be in developer options

That seems indeed useful as I tried to help somebody with a locked bootloader and found no way to get it to unlock through the official procedure. Would they not just help you to unlock it if you ask them?
