Linux daily driver on a FairPhone 5?
Linux daily driver on a FairPhone 5?
Which distro would you want to see more software developed for? Ubuntu Touch, Droidian, or PostMarketOS?
Since I’m going to switch to Linux Mobile soon after Android gets locked down, I was also considering getting involved in developing software for it since I imagine one major problem is the lack of support. However, I’m not sure which distro to daily drive or develop for, so I was curious what the community thinks.

Just released NomNomus Version 0.2.0 . The LinuxPhone Food Tracker now has Favorite Recipes to store often consumed or self-made items in a local cache. Also the logo suppose to be a fruit not a anus. Thank you @doggestman for clarification.

(edit: I found it!) What is the default passcode for new postmarketOS installs?
Hi all, I finally got my (second, the first was hardlocked into EDL mode and the buttons are all jammed, whoops!) OnePlus 6 to get postmarketOS installed! I’m very happy now, but it looks like there’s a default passcode. Trying things like “0000” and “1234” doesn’t work, and there isn’t anything listed in the wiki. My device is running the stable v25.12 build of postmarketOS, installed via the prebuilt image w/ Phosh. EDIT: The default passcode is 147147 according to the wiki for all prebuilt binaries. Interesting!
The used OnePlus 6 I bought is stuck on a black screen, detected as "Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM QUSB_BULK_CID:0402_SN:B48453B9"
Holding down the power button, the power button + volume up, and the power button + both volume buttons does not do anything. What does “Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM QUSB_BULK_CID:0402_SN:B48453B9” mean? I followed the guide using a prebuilt postmarketOS image (v25.12 w/ Phosh). I ran fastboot erase dtbo, fastboot flash boot (.img file), fastboot flash userdata (another .img file), and finally fastboot reboot. I saw a few Tux penguins in the corner and saw the postmarketOS logo. Then, the display turned off. After that, I rebooted in fastboot mode and retried the fastboot flash step and did fastboot reboot. Now my device seems to be unresponsive and appears as “Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM QUSB_BULK_CID:0402_SN:B48453B9” (in Android, it was seen as “OnePlus 6”, while in fastboot mode, it was seen as “Google Android device”) Has anyone ran into this issue and know how to fix this?
