All I can say is, I wish all software developers the best. May the juniors' journey to becoming seniors be adventurous and yielding and the seniors' retirement be peaceful and calm.

I however will keep making software for my own use, just like my forebears have made campfires to cook their own catch.

I won't make software for others to use. Too stressful and I don't like being taken for granted !

Slow Destruction Of The Software Developer

Odysee

Unless I have a group of friends I can work with then maybe I'll consider making software for others to use but right now I enjoy making my own stuff.

I also don't like LLM's making code for my own stuff. They're only good for making example code & I run a local LLM for those tasks but I'd rather learn either with a human trainer (hopefully a patient one) or on my own. That way I can troubleshoot my own code instead of relying on, pardon my rudeness, shitty and unreliable tool for those things.
