And so it starts;

Police have arrested peaceful demonstrators under the Terrorism Act, for holding placards in support of Palestine Action.

Yes, Britain the home of democracy....

Yvette Cooper should be ashamed of herself for this attack on democracy & the right to protest.

How has it come to this?

[rhetorical Q.; I have a pretty good idea]

@ChrisMayLA6 regardless of the cause - these demonstrations show exactly how our so-called representatives of the people actually represent their donors and sponsors (no matter how far removed)
@antjbro @ChrisMayLA6
It will be funny when supporters of PA clog the courts and the prisons. Will they arrest everyone who is critical of Cooper?
Unbelievable news @ChrisMayLA6 I WILL not call this government mine!!
@ChrisMayLA6 it has come to this cos MPs have a loyalty to Israel. Why?
Money!

@jna

Sadly, I think their hostility to protest is more general than that... although for some it may be a factor, yes

@ChrisMayLA6 I agree. I think our politicians, even when we did not vote for it , are more right wing than formally. Any protest is to be discouraged-not just pro Palestine support. USA, UK, Germany etc all in the same mindset!
