@daihard asks:

Q5. A curious question for people who ride bikes with drop handlebars. What is your favourite handlebar tape, and why?

Mine is Supakaz Super Sticky Kush. It's relatively easy to wrap, it feels super comfortable, and it lasts very long.

(If you don't use drop-style handlebars what type of grip do you like?)

@ascentale @daihard @bikenite I learned to wrap with cloth tape as a kid. Then migrated to flat bars. Years later I got a road bike and used vinyl tape, which is junk. Now I have alt bars and got back into cloth tape. I have Ergon G3 grips because they match and feel great. I forget how much I love the feel of cloth. And this setup has gone through a rainy season and looks good still.

Attached: 4 images I did a thing on my handlebars. Granola-Moose bars from velo orange. Ergon GA3 grips, because color. And then for multiple hand positions, newbaum’s eggplant cloth tape. Tied off with hemp cord a three coats of shellac. The tape is one piece on each side. I wrapped starting from the inside and Maki wrapped, or single color harlequin, then at the tee each side of the tape goes in a different direction. After the shellac dried, I brushed the tape with a brass wire brush to soften the feel.
