I sell O-Rings. Yes, round rubber rings. I also wrote an iPhone app to help find the right O-Ring. I guess the makes me a developer.
I did a thing on my handlebars.
Granola-Moose bars from velo orange. Ergon GA3 grips, because color. And then for multiple hand positions, newbaum’s eggplant cloth tape. Tied off with hemp cord a three coats of shellac. The tape is one piece on each side. I wrapped starting from the inside and Maki wrapped, or single color harlequin, then at the tee each side of the tape goes in a different direction. After the shellac dried, I brushed the tape with a brass wire brush to soften the feel.

While on my Sunday morning bike ride I noticed quite a bit of activity at one of the trailheads back towards home. I asked what was happening and was told the local running club was having its annual 5k/10k/half/full marathon. I thought I might make it through before the race, so I continued on. About 3/4s of the way I hit the runners.

There was a few at first, then a large pack. I decided to pull over until it thinned. I started cheering some of the runners.
Then a thought hit me! What would Tim Walz do?
I spent the next hour cheering, clapping and encouraging all the runners that went by. Fast, slow, young, old, it was a diverse group and I did my best to elevate them.

My throat hurts now. But it was fun.
This should be a thing.

According to #AlexanderVindman, "the seizure of the SMD HQ and the potential consolidation of control over bases in the area has taken the insurrection into very dangerous territory. The #SMD/ Operational Command South has slices of every single asset in #Russia's arsenal including #StrategicAssets."

For #WorldBicycleDay I’m going to mention my favorite safety accessory. My bell has a rich mellow tone. It started it’s journey as a bright brass Crane Bell from Japan. I softened it with heat until it had a soft red glow. Then I hammered it to get a the beautiful rough finish. Doing this long enough that the brass hardened back up until it had the sound I wanted. I used earl gray to give it a pink color and then dish soap for the brown. I ring it sometimes as I ride just for my own amusement.
This is the New Year's greeting from Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of #Ukraine, and his wife, Olena Zelenska (screen capture from the birdsite with the entire message in the alt-text for the image):

ME: Waterboarding implies the existence of Earthboarding, Airboarding and Fireboarding

THE CIA: Go on

I would really like to quote-tweet this, adding my 2 cents and amplifying Taylor's words.

But I can't. And that's unfortunate.
