Entscheidender nachteil bei bski ist, dass einige inhalte ggf zensiert bzw. Nicht ohne algorithmen ausgespielt werden.
Zudem wird content für investoren vermarktet, was einer #OpenScience entgegensteht.
Zudem kann man im gegensatz zum fediverse viele inhalte erst nach einem login korrekt angezeigt bekommen.

Insb einbindung von #peertube und #lemmy könnte für die #wisskomm gold wert sein. Zudem nutzung von @TIB_AVPortal

@Sascha Since every ActivityPub account handle search translates to a WebFinger lookup, this is entirely doable for any ISBN (just like for any ORCID iD and for any DOI) with a thin translation layer on top of something like https://isbndb.com – given no API throttling and sensible handle normalization (https://stackoverflow.com/a/4155051).

Assuming no legal or ethical barriers, it'd be a nice @fedify learning project for an ActivityPub novice. 😛

I should probably be clear on what I mean by that last sentence: if someone builds this, there *will be* ethical and legal barriers.
