They literally tried to storm Congress to hang the Vice-president for being too law-abiding. Or as the modern Nazi pronounces it, "too woke".
Note, how the legal system, in a total surprise (not), treated the Nazis who tried to putsch on January 6th like nice honourable gentleman. IANAL, during committing a felony, you are responsible what your accomplices do. So if they murder someone,
you are up for full murder charges (details might vary by jurisdiction). Now when police officers are killed, in practice, most often, their fellow LEOs from the director of the FBI to the mall cops are out for blood, and are actually dulling the needles for the lethal injection.
How were the dead Congress Cops avenged? With a serial pardon, but notice that the DOJ did not real handle that under Biden either. As the saying goes in German, justice is blind on the right eye.
Please note, that Hitler got 5 years fore his "honourable" putsch (while theory Bavaria could have executed him), served a year in hotel like accommodations (the honourable finding of the court comes here in, thus the nice quarters).
And that is actually a very brutal and unexpected verdict: His judge was himself a right extremist, and the two lay justices (service the role of the jury in this case) literally told him before the trial, they will not convict Hitler to prison.
But back to the USA, you have been living in a modern version of the Weimar Republic for the past 1-2 decades, you have been boiling slowly since 9/11.
Notice, #Trump has crossed the line into illegality because he wanted to cross it. To set a precedent. Much of the cruelty he is doing, if he would be willing to fill in some more forms, to do a bit more patient, wait till the courts confirm which tortures are the legal ones to apply, he could probably get away with 80-90% of the cruelty legally
It would just not be such a great, beautiful TV performance, like dropping armed forces on a commie metropolitan area. (As a European, no offence, you idiot Americans don't even know what a Communist is or how Communism looks, even Bernie is by objective standards a rather conservative neoliberal a$$hole. With that classification, please consider what the rest of the US political class is, by our standards.)
And would not set precedents that the US Imperator can do whatever he wants.
