From the website:
"CommCards host thoughtfully chosen words and phrases which are straightforward but which still allow for deeper expression. The cards can be decoupled from their ring and arranged in groups to communicate further complex concepts. Additionally, they are maximally accessible: from their inception, they have been crafted to be usable byβand thus communicate withβas wide an audience as possible. The text is rendered in OpenDyslexic3 and can be produced in many languages as needed; the palette has been tested for all major color vision deficiency types, and each card's text-to-color optical contrast is at least 7:1."

@heathen_cat π What a wonderful idea! It's truly inspiring to see such thoughtful and innovative tools being created to support accessibility and communication for people experiencing selective mutism, aphasia, or other communication challenges.
I like that design of these Communication Cards is not only practical but also deeply considerate of the diverse needs of users, from the choice of font to the color contrast and the ability to customize the language. It's clear that a lot of care and understanding went into creating these cards, making them a powerful tool for expression and connection.
Thank you for sharing this resource, and kudos to @julesthefox for developing such a helpful and inclusive tool. π
