It was quite the night. I heard seven drones near my apartment, which is about three times more than usual for a nighttime attack. The sounds of air defenses — machine guns, Howitzers, Patriots — went on for hours. Putin seems to be saying not just no, but hell no to a cessation. Somebody needs to break the news to him: Russia never was a great power; he’s grasping after a fantasy, just like the maga crowd in the USA. He’s better off reading #TimothySnyder. SilkesterYou'd better do with Russia what Russia did with the US. Destroy it from the inside. Less bloody and it bears a better chance to last, because unlike Russia cementing the dual fascist state in the US, destroying from within in Russia in a EU spirit would mean a social democracy in its wake.
And at the same time restore US democracy with FDR policies aka a social democracy.
Sadly, this takes time.
