I will hack the interwebs and I WILL order noodles. Just you watch!
#cloudflare
paco.to
, they "correct" it to paco.com
. So even though that is NOT my email address, I had to login with a paco.com
email address. Great work, guys. Take a bow.I really did NOT expect to make 3 posts about trying to order noodles for dinner, but here we are.
I contacted customer support a few weeks ago and asked them to manually change my email address to paco.to
. They did. I have now lost my entire order history and all my "favourites." So we get to order everything from scratch.
Amusingly enough, I did keep my loyalty points, so there's that.
#noodles #email #web #food
5th (and hopefully final) installment in the saga “Paco gets noodles for dinner.” They are tasty. Hacking complete.
BTW for those wondering, “hacking” was disabling #IPv6 on my laptop and ordering over IPv4. Thanks #cloudflare. Nice work. Much safer.)
so, you're saying that lack of noodles has been slowing ipv6 adoption? fair enough. :)
@paco Oh I hate that.
My latest pet-peeve is that I have an EMail address that has a subdomain (vendors.example.com) and I get told by about 10% of sites that grumpyelf@vendors.example.com isn't a valid address.
Really? I have over 250 organizations sending mail to that address, so is *it* wrong, or is the parser you wrote junk?
filter.paco.to
and they turn it into filter.paco.com
. I am doing the same thing and getting the same result. 🤦♂️
