I am l33t h4x0r. Ph3ar me!
I will hack the interwebs and I WILL order noodles. Just you watch!
#cloudflare
The other thing about the awesome #cybersecurity at Noodles & Co is that when I give them my email address that ends in paco.to, they "correct" it to paco.com. So even though that is NOT my email address, I had to login with a paco.com email address. Great work, guys. Take a bow.

I really did NOT expect to make 3 posts about trying to order noodles for dinner, but here we are.

I contacted customer support a few weeks ago and asked them to manually change my email address to paco.to. They did. I have now lost my entire order history and all my "favourites." So we get to order everything from scratch.

Amusingly enough, I did keep my loyalty points, so there's that.

God DAMN a fourth message! Looks like the going rate is anywhere from 12.5 cents to 15 cents per calorie. On vegetables.
If you want meatballs, you can pay $0.012 per calorie. You want vegetables? Can you please fill out this credit check.

Fuckin A

5th (and hopefully final) installment in the saga “Paco gets noodles for dinner.” They are tasty. Hacking complete.

BTW for those wondering, “hacking” was disabling #IPv6 on my laptop and ordering over IPv4. Thanks #cloudflare. Nice work. Much safer.)

@paco

so, you're saying that lack of noodles has been slowing ipv6 adoption? fair enough. :)

@paco I noticed something similar when ordering from our usual asian place. Used to be that my veg and tofu was the cheapest thing on the menu. Not so much anymore. I don't mind for this place, because they're locally owned and they may be magical fairies because they can make crispy tofu that is still crispy when it gets to my house. *I* can't make crispy tofu that stays crispy until it gets to the plate. Heh.
@paco can we order instead of tooting about it? I’m hungry

@paco Oh I hate that.
My latest pet-peeve is that I have an EMail address that has a subdomain (vendors.example.com) and I get told by about 10% of sites that grumpyelf@vendors.example.com isn't a valid address.

Really? I have over 250 organizations sending mail to that address, so is *it* wrong, or is the parser you wrote junk?

@elfin Me too. It's actually filter.paco.to and they turn it into filter.paco.com. I am doing the same thing and getting the same result. 🤦‍♂️
@paco Ewwwwwww.
I get that a little with my .me and *oddly*, my .us addresses. Like, people, there are other TLDs than .com ... just lazy programming.
@elfin yeah. For aliexpress, I end up using a .world domain I own because they don’t seem to like .to at all. Weird that .to, which is ancient, is less supported than the novelty .world.
@paco Do you need your noodles that badly?
@JigmeDatse clearly not. Because I’m busy posting about it instead of ordering them! 😜
@paco Well, I more mean is there maybe some place you can get what you're looking for which is less of a pain.
