I want to believe there is still time for you and our system of government to do so. But the evidence is little, and my fear grows daily as the #Executive systematically becomes more autocratic while #Congress simply stares thinking…well, I can’t even imagine. That “we are too big to fail”? 8/15
These #WhiteHouse actions are NOT about #smallgovernment, and they do NOT promote #autonomy and #freedom of the individual, something I understood to be cornerstone’s of the GOP platform. 10/15
These are radical, centralized consolidations of power by an #authoritarian. A #tyrant who changes their mind daily and gives the world whiplash because of it. 11/15
At least, the #Democrats are not destroying our standing on the world stage, isolating us from our trade and defence partners. With phenomena like #Tesla’s loss of sales in Europe and now a downturn in European tourism in the US, do you think we can ever regain trust let alone any respect? 12/15
As the face of #NorthCarolina and a representative of your party, I will never forget this moment in our history. As a moderate who hopes they will always have the right to vote, I have ~30 years ahead of me to voice my thoughts on this. 14/15
