@randahl At this point I don’t think he’s capable of executing a plan. His dementia is bad enough that he doesn’t remember what he said or did 5 minutes ago.

The weird thing about dementia is that if a person doesn’t remember the past they also lose the ability to conceptualize a decision tree for the future.

So here we are. One of the most dangerous times in history and the US Pres is a narcissistic, addled, disabled adult worshipped as a god by tens of millions of people.

Tariffs give him control over access to the huge US economy, so people have to do favors for him to get/maintain favorable access to it.

It's incredibly simple and obvious. I assume NYTimes, WaPo, and all the others haven't even put this forward as a possibility.
