Good to see extra support for #WWF #EarthHour from my utility provider #OctopusEnergy

I've subscribed to the event and will give back 50% of anything I make.

All these little things help, and indeed raise awareness that we need to be doing more to help our planet survive and thrive.

Join us for a very special Saving Sessions event: Earth Hour with WWF!

This Saturday at 8.30pm, we’re supporting WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) with a unique Saving Sessions takeover to celebrate Earth Hour - and you’re invited!

Octopus Energy
@mp362 We've been with Octopus for four years now and they are brilliant but sadly we are moving out due to their continued promotion of X

@steveseagull
I'm not on any social media sites, so can't say I notice any of that stuff.

So long as they offer competitive tariffs, and their API is available for automation and reporting, that fits my needs.

Mind you I am moving house soon and will look around when I do to see if I should still stay with them or go elsewhere because I won't have the same setup as now.
Indeed I'm going backwards by moving to a house with a gas boiler rather than the ASHP I installed in my current house.

If I were on social media sites then perhaps I'd be less keen to stay with them if they are indeed a promotor on X.

@mp362 good luck with your move. My beef about X is that I'm not on X but, as with many sites, that X link connects you to the X registration page. And it's just so depressing to see that X link on home pages, it's like seeing a swastika every day.

BTW I just opted in to the #octopus saver session. I hope so much it doesn't have to be my last one.

@mp362 @steveseagull is Mastodon not a social media site? 🤭
