About a decade ago, I watched the weekly WWF Raw shows and PPVs from the start of 1996 onwards to see if the Attitude Era holds up. My conclusion was that it had high highs (Rock vs Austin) and dreadfully low lows (MANY "you're doing this for the shock value but there's no substance beyond that" moments).
Lately I decided to watch a bunch of pro wrestling promotions from 1995 onwards and I'm up to late June 1996. I was missing SO much context a decade ago!
