They deflect and mischaracterize what you say to allow themselves to stay ignorant and comfortable. That's the way it is. @Wileymiller @GottaLaff If he loses 3/4 or more of that Tesla money, he's still got way more money than he can ever spend. But now he has power, and access to all our data. I think he cares somewhat if Tesla tanks, but he probably thinks he can make it up by having the US government funnel money to his businesses, and if not, as effective president he thinks he can crush his competitors and opponents.

@Wileymiller @GottaLaff I think Trump supporters view him as somehow superior, and that if they associate with him, some of that superiority will rub off on them. The fact that it hasn't worked for others doesn't factor into their thinking.
