semitone@briankrebs It shouldn't be. It should be illegal for a convicted felon to even take a political office of such calibre. It should also be illegal for a head of state to wield such enormous power. The problem (and possibly the solution) is within the system. People come and go. But systems can be improved if the people who are part of that system really want it.

While this may stop the tyrannical destruction of democracy for a moment, Vance is the next in line and controlled by the billionaire ultranationalist oligarchy. He’s as narcissistic and childish as Trump, but perhaps the momentum would be slowed.
