Nature is amazing. Planted some agretti which is a sort of Italian samphire two years ago. Nothing happened at all and just assumed it was too wet and cold to do anything. Just been to the allotment and discovered several clumps of small but very healthy looking agretti. Some chives in the same bed coming up too but this is definitely agretti. #permaculture #allotmentlife #growing #gardening #HeritageSeeds

@Pollinators hmmm..hadn't thought of that.. will see how much it grows. If there is loads of it may try #kimchi

@stuffjolikes Annual saltwort is related to agretti. It reseeded for several years. Some saltwort goes in our finest small batches of kimchi. It’s crunchy, healthy and fun to find on the fork. #kimchi.
