So when you see billionaires work to dismantle the CFPB, US AID, NIH, CDC, and social welfare programs in general, know that it isn't because they think it'll help people.

It's because all they know how to do is exploit.

That's who they are.

Man, it's just that ideological apparatus like those are operating to another bourgeoisie fraction. Those who take the power now don't want journalists, famous for defending the ideological consensus of dehumanizing "radicals" by pretending inclusion, in the payroll.
They want very different, and they will build it.

@QasimRashid I'm just surprised that they are working to undermine the rule of law:

1. Who makes the laws?
2. Who is protected by those laws?
3. Who has the most to lose when the rule of law breaks down?

Hint. It is the same answer to all three and it is not the homeless people. When all the regulations really disappear, whose houses are going to be raided first?

They must all be dumber than dirt.

Working class movements don't need billionaires in order to be successful. They only make up about 1% of the population, while the workers not only make up 99%, but do all of the necessary work to keep society functioning. Workers are the powerhouse of society, and appealing to them is necessary for change. What we need is the unification of the working class, not pandering to "good billionaires who aren't really that bad."

Wealth inequality, oligarchy, and their progenitor, capitalism, are the problems. Survival means people like you getting over your aversion of focusing on serious economic issues, focusing on them, and eliminating them, not chastising people for doing so. And all your high minded goals & beliefs wont ever make a dent in it. The only thing that *ever* will is if & when we move to a post scarcity society, because that's where all the status signaling and social climbers expectations come apart at the seams.

You're attempting to draw an average line through an imaginary set of characteristics. There's all different sorts. Some like maintaining a bourgeois because they vicariously live through them. They love the markets like they love sports. The fantasy that with a stroke of luck or skill they can elevate their station runs deeper than you can *ever* reach.

It's not. It's been repeatedly shown that this is not a zero sum game.
