Back at work with the team at @Sketch today and I'm happy to say that the work we're doing is fun, exciting, and whatever the opposite of “bro and hustler-ie" is ✨

Jerome (He/Him)@rafa it’s not easy. I stay off of spaces and communities (like LinkedIn feeds) that perpetuate hustle culture and stick to Mastodon and RSS feeds of creators who inspire me to build.

João Castro@rafa I can relate. It’s a strange phase we’re living in when tech companies are just a fork of each other’s AI fad implementation, while creativity and the humanity of the process is relegated to a secondary position.

@rafa you're not wrong, I dumped the industry for this reason and I couldn't be happier. I'm a geek, I love programming (and cybersec and a bunch of other tech stuff) and still do it for fun and research, but not for profit. Not saying it's the solution for everyone...but it is always an option!
