I finally did it. I've been working on this release of @PleaseDontRain for almost 2 months and I finally submitted it for review.
I'd been putting off implementing a location queue because I thought it would be a time zone nightmare and it was actually worse than I thought.
Proud to be done!
I have to give props to Bluesky for giving me the space to put all of this in my alt text. That wasnβt the case with Mastodon.

CommunityKit is coming back bigger and better than ever for WWDC week.
We've added more days, which means more experiences and chances to make connections.
Hope to see you there!
When I used to order boba tea for delivery it would show an exact count of how many times I've ordered my favorite in the past.
Now to offset any shame they just show a count of 5+ (understatement of the century).
I will not be taking questions at this time.
So it looks like the stopwatch on my old iPad has been running for a bit. π«£
Caused a nice UI issue also.
Continuing the tradition, Kai and I are doing our annual Core Coffee meetup in San Jose on June 7 before WWDC kicks off! π
My friends @malin and @kaidombrowski mentioned that the trip tracking feature in Mercury Weather took almost as much code as the original version of their app.
Should I have used that as a warning to never attempt anything even vaguely similar? yes
Did I heed that warning? no
