For what it's worth, I like both Bluesky and Mastodon, I want both to succeed, and that they are doing similar things from slightly different vantage points is not needless redundancy but needed resiliency, given what we face going forwards.
@alexwild 100% agree. Both provide great fresh content. However I haven’t yet found the timely summaries I was used to on the bird without hashtagging.

@boud I don't understand the hostility to Bluesky. No one is forcing you to use it, it will introduce a lot of people to open protocols, and it can coexist just fine with the fediverse.
