@paul when i was subscribed to apple music i'd get automated emails like "hey, you'll save money if you bundle your icloud+ and apple music!"
and i'd go and check and it'd always be more expensive
every time.
It sort of boils down to getting one of the services âfreeâ compared to ala carte pricing, except complicated by how much iCloud storage you need. And with one of those âservicesâ perhaps being a thing you would ânever pay for, it end up âbreaking evenâ, maybe?
So I bet I am far from the only one just buying âApple Oneâ out of âfuck, I donât even want to think about this anymore, just gimme the full hairballâ
Iâd gladly trade the âservice I donât really wantâ for more iCloud storage.
@paul I wish Costco still sold the Apple News annual subscriptions. If Iâm going to pay for news, Iâd rather pay for a bundle of multiple sources like Apple News has. But $13 is too much when compared to what I consume, and how much TV costs to make on streaming services that cost less.
I could justify the annual cost more easily.
@paul
It âpaysâ off with six family members who have different interests, plus gets them to back up their devices rather than just âeh nah.â
Itâs the way I read Edge magazine, even though I pay for it in print, because the small thin font is too brutal.
