On the fedi.directory site you mean?

If you want to follow an account listed on the site, paste its address into the search box within your own Mastodon server or within your Mastodon app. This will bring up its profile page where you can click "follow".

The profiles you see when you click on them are on other servers, so you will not be able to log in there.

The currency is shown in euros on the ko-fi website, but your bank will automatically convert it to your own currency when you donate. Your bank should have its own currency exchange rate calculator on its website, but if it doesn't you can get a rough estimate from third party sites like https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter
