Trump's nomination of Gaetz will be the clearest signal yet of whether GOP senators are ready to do his bidding on all sorts of issues.
If Trump can get 51 votes for Gaetz, he can get a Senate majority for just about anything — like cutting back Social Security.

And Hegseth and Gabbard and who knows who else is coming down the pike? Trump's demand for complete abjection is insatiable.
We hope that it gets even worse. Worse. Let the circus burn down. Some of the voters may then start doubting their bad choices.
I believe there are enough people here that wants the good path. Even though the Orange Empire was successful now, it was not the resounding majority. It was still close, thus there are several who wants to evolve. Left us to hope that these people will pick up from the ashes after the Orange Empire goes through their reign of chaos.

@rbreich Nominating Gaetz is sending skirmishers out. Press forward until resistance gets too heavy. Then relent, a bit, having mapped out the pockets of resistance.
After that, nominate someone slightly less horrible. Who will be accepted, because hey, it may be bad but thank god it’s not a pedophile racketeer.
