Trump's nomination of Gaetz will be the clearest signal yet of whether GOP senators are ready to do his bidding on all sorts of issues.

If Trump can get 51 votes for Gaetz, he can get a Senate majority for just about anything — like cutting back Social Security.

@targetdrone I think they may be more willing to disobey as Trump is weaker than he was in 2016 and 2020 and this is his second term.
