My daughter just gave birth with serious complications. She was full term, it ended well and I’m thankful.
That’s not the same story for many women out there, and it makes me so sad inside.

But it's hard to understand how Lincoln Project guys—former Republicans who used to vote to take women's bodily autonomy—suddenly started caring. Did they just like the tone of it better back in the Bush, Reagan, etc. days when those guys talked in emotional terms about precious life, etc.? I'm glad they've seen the light, but do they not know that they supported this and, by voting for the fuckers who appointed Clarence Thomas, etc., brought it about?

Two months ago, I would have objected over such an emotional 2-minute video, but now that the numbers are coming out, the hundreds(!) of legal cases against women, the women who died because hospitals are forbidden to give them the needed care, I can only agree.
All of us must realize the consequences of our choices. And sometimes they hit at our homes. Hard at home.
