EU citizen? Have you signed off on taxing the rich yet? Chances are you didnt as only 300k people of the needed million have signed. We have less than a month!

How should we expect to change anything if we cant even agree that 2000 people owning the world is a BAD IDEA???

Because you fear that some third party is eavesdropping on your (encrypted) communication with an EU website or because you don't trust the EU?

If the former then there are apparently also people/organizations who collect signatures.

I seriously beg you to sign in one way or the other.

I am insanely frustrated. I would love to sign this, but it seems like I am required to sign it using my deadname (legal name), as they will do legal ID verification to count signatures.

My horribly transphobic country (Bulgaria) is still refusing to let me change my ID after years of court battles. This is a prime example of how they torture and silence #trans people. They have created a system that makes it impossible for me to express my voice as myself.

I am very conflicted. In principle, I refuse to provide my deadname anywhere voluntarily. Even to police. I would have to violate my personal principles to do this.

@haui I've heard some really interesting (and depressing) excuses for not signing the petition in the past months. My top 3 are:
* "I might win the lottery and don't want to share" (from an 85 year old guy and lifelong lottery player who never won more than 10 euros)
* "What if the rich take revenge on people signing the petition?!" (Young colleague)
* "It won't charge anything even if the petition gets through." (Relative in her 50s)

Frustrating.

@haui What I also find frustrating is that the petition regarding daylight saving time made it some years back and that the current petition "Stop destroying video games" already has more signees (and goes on until mid next year). 😐
