Trump's vaccines worked. His monoclonals defeated all extant variants during his term. Though his deficiencies were many, he never had time to cave to the moneyed interests Biden caved to so cravenly and so eagerly.

Biden's response is the stuff of class warfare and atrocity. Tell us all how it would look any different if he were directly allied with the persons responsible for BA.1 and BA.2.86.

@noyes @luckytran They were not "Trump's vaccines." The RNA vaccines were developed by Moderna (a U.S. company) and BioNTech (a German company) based on decades of research. A researcher in Shanghai had sequenced COVID-19 and forwarded the sequence to a contact in Australia, who in turn forwarded it to Moderna & BioNTech. It took Moderna 48 hours to design a vaccine (on paper). The vaccine was designed in January, before Trump had said a word about it.

And BioNTech lead scientists are kids of migrants.

@luckytran He means conceptually. Conceptually, it was a great job. Conceptually, bleach disinfects so, conceptually, drinking it should cure you of a virus. It's a great concept...drinking bleach. Shining light in your holes. For virus deletion I don't know that a better concept has ever been conceived...of a great job. The best job concept ever.
