Wir haben Tetrapaks nie gelocht 😀
Scheint da unterschiedliche Kulturtechniken gegeben zu haben...
The ancient method is way better IMO
@eleanorrees There's a chocolate oat milk brand that has containers similar to these - and other than the plastic lids tending to leak - the main issue is that no matter how much you tip the container upside down theres somehow always half a mouthful left in the container... needing to be cut open.
I could have sworn we had figured out milk cartons already, it kinda feels backwards that we've added a plastic part and made it worse.
The original Tetra Pak was a tetrahedron. Easy to pack for distribution, easy to open, and somewhat easy to pour.
This is a real "Don't speak to me of the deep magic, I was there when it was written," moment and I'm loving it.
I had a protein drink where this happened and I just broke the seal with a butter knife and it was actually easier to drink and less of the drink was trapped inside the container.
My electric can opener broke a couple of years ago and I found myself using the old school one on my Leatherman to open some tomato paste.
I thought "maybe I should explain this to my son", and he had had no idea what that tool was for.
Maybe it'll save him a couple of hungry hours someday.
I really want to say #BoycottTetraPak, even though I live near their HQ. But I don't see how that could be possible. They have a near total monopoly on this kind of packaging.
In 2022, the company promised to withdraw from Russia, but I can't find any confirmation that they have done that. Instead, they have persisted with applications to be exempt from the EU embargo. For shame!
