I was mouthing along to the song since I knew it and he was impressed. Told me I have a winning smile before I got off the bus.

So today I finally used a Winners gift card I received for my birthday last year. My birthday is in late Oct. I have not been able to walk without pain for over a year so have not been able to shop in-person for a long time.

Winners doesn’t have an online store so happy belated birthday to me!

I texted my friend when I arrived at the store to let her know I was finally using my gift card.

I missed shopping. I had some lovely interactions with strangers.

Second: That's the biggest problem with on line shopping destroying brick and mortar. Interacting (positively) in a store while shopping has always been the best part of shopping. I can't count the fascinating conversations I've had while standing in line with people.
