Mom is making a new batch of preserved salted #limes. Boiling them for approximately 5 minutes before layering with rock salt & filling jar with filtered water. We are making a few batches over next few weeks to have enough supply for all Winter, into next early Summer ☺️

Thanks! Sounds good! When we have a lot of extra tomatoes, we sometimes just blanch them and store them in freezer bags in the freezer. Nice to add a taste of summer to sauces when it’s a gray January day.

@wa7iut We store some tomatoes in freezer in same way & also dehydrate some for cooking in Winter months.
