@ics @emmreef @BobDevney I have recently been listening to a podcast about Musk and his many companies (and feuds) produced by Bloomberg. Worried it might be too much fanboy (and fangirl), but there's enough reporting to increase my distrust of him.

@SmartmanApps @Scubyw @emmreef Thanks! It wasn't actually a request for a ref - it is well known - but now I found that source. Yes, Tumblr.

β¦and here you are...supporting a guy promoting naziism-
that gets you what I like to call an instablock.
Musk is showing us what a gift it was Hughes was a recluse.
@emmreef I advise against quoting via pictures.
Musk never stood in the tradition of Ford.
Dammit that was my joke.
@lgw4 @emmreef Not that difficult when you own a newspaper with your antisemitic column, and require your dealerships to carry it.

He's always been a grifter, he's never invented anything, he's not even an 'idea' man. He's a self promoting wanker who used family wealth from his apartheid privilege to buy into companies and force the founders out so he could try and claim he founded them instead.
The only reason people thought he was good, was because there were PR depts putting out good stories about him... Once you were able to hear directly from his own mouth. It became clear to all what some already knew.
The actual bullseye given Elonβs trajectory, multiple unrelated businesses, drug abuse, and penchant for dating starlets, is Howard Hughes not Henry Ford.
Henry Ford at least paid his workers enough to buy the vehicles they were building.
His days will end with him alone in a mansion surrounded by jars of his own piss muttering βThe way of the futureβ over and over again until he mercifully strokes out or his kidneys fail from Ketamine abuse.
