This is just priceless:

Ukrainian soldiers have begun reviewing Russian restaurants and cafés on Google with wonderful compliments along the lines of

“Excellent food, but the parking spaces were too small for our Abrams tanks”,

and

“Great service, but the restaurant did not have tables for all 2,000 of us”,

etc., etc.

Putin indeed deserves every moment of this! 😀

"Esto no tiene precio:

Los soldados ucranianos han comenzado a reseñar restaurantes y cafés rusos en Google con maravillosos elogios como:

“Excelente comida, pero los espacios de estacionamiento eran demasiado pequeños para nuestros tanques Abrams”,

y

“Excelente servicio, pero el restaurante no tenía mesas para los 2000 que éramos”,

etc., etc.

¡Putin realmente se merece cada momento de esto! 😀" - @randahl

@pthenq1 @randahl

Pero tenían comida?

@Aleggra @randahl

Dudo! Sin estacionamiento para el tanque se complica comer tranquilo!

@randahl

Nothing ever deserved a chef’s kiss as much as this. 💙💛

@randahl Even better that there are bots, set up by some grocery store chain, responding to any 5-star review with something like "we are happy that you are satisfied, looking forward to seeing you again in the future!"
@randahl love this journey for him

@randahl

It would be cool if they could post some stuff on YouTube.

You know, because Putin thinks he has blocked YouTube.

@randahl I really hope Putin will pull his troops back. This is insanity!
@Doreen32128 It is. But Putin knows that losing his war is losing his own life. So he will not stop until he is defeated, or the Russians themselves wake up and remove him.
@randahl as ukrainian i will say - you are sick folks, same as those soldiers who act unprofessional, and making fun on war.
They are doing strategic move, this is brave, as they are bearing heavy losses, to have bargaining chip on negotiation, but there is nothing funny.
You are sitting giggling in your warm offices, but let me see how you will laugh, when fire you are supporting will reach your homeland, and when some soldier after destroying your (civilian!) home will make funny comments.
@randahl Yes boss man, but how many Ukrainians are dying for those reviews? Is it worth it?
@Denys F. They are doing strategic move, this is brave, as they are bearing heavy losses, to have bargaining chip on negotiation, but there is nothing funny.
so you want to say, these soldiers are out there defending their country, killing the enemy and being in grave danger to be killed themselves and they should do this in dignity. without having fun and poking the russians from time to time, which to you looks not grave enough for the situation at hand. i think you reeally misunderstand human behaviour ...
@jabgoe2089 Yes, they should stay professional.
Unlikely it is soldiers, as i just looked up in regulations - they are not allowed to use internet except for mil comms, otherwise they put themself, comrades, and whole operation in grave danger.
This is likely done by some folks who are very far from battlezone, who think it is some kind of game.
You are welcome to join ukrainian army, and let me see how you will joke, after week in trenches, and you will tell how i misunderstand people.

@nuclearcat Even if it's trolls from the "hinterland", it'll hopefully demoralize ruZZian troops and civilians.

@jabgoe2089

@wonka @jabgoe2089 so you think demoralizing civilians is good thing? Doesn't matter which side they are - they are non-combatants and in most cases - victims of circumstances.
I think i have nothing to discuss with such amoral person like you.

@nuclearcat There are russian civilians which whole-heartedly support the war against Ukraine despite knowing the Propaganda they get told is bullshit.
Those who do not support the war wouldn't be demoralized by this trolling.
So what's your point?

@jabgoe2089

@wonka @nuclearcat @jabgoe2089 civilians are civilians. you don’t get to say “these civilians supported the war so it doesn’t count”.

@benjamineskola I (don't actually) beg to differ. Every supporter of fascism needs to be demoralized and punched in the face until they stop supporting fascism and wars of conquest.

@nuclearcat @jabgoe2089

@nuclearcat @wonka @jabgoe2089
Motivated civilians will prepare barricades and improvise weapons, then get blown up and shot when the army arrives. Demoralised civilians will watch Ukrainian forces drive by and then be provided with humanitarian aid.

Tell me again about your morality...

@Denys F. You are welcome to join ukrainian army, and let me see how you will joke, after week in trenches, and you will tell how i misunderstand people.
you are an offensive troll that is striving to destroy all support for the ukrainian outside ukraine itself. i wish you all bad luck for that
@jabgoe2089 fascinating, if i have listed in my profile my github, my posts are real, but you dare to call me troll. I had to flee my home, my relatives now dying, some in trences, some from shelling, but some shit living in safety, think he can decide what is wrong and what is right.
Real support is to finish bloodshed ASAP and resolve it peacefully.
If you think different, go and fight on our side,dear brave couch warrior.
P.S. When you wish bad luck innocent - you cursed your own life.
@randahl boost with cw: mention of armory, mention of Ukraine conflict

@randahl @rgarner

Putin totally does but I struggle because these small businesses are probably run by regular people just trying to live their lives the best they can.

Some comments said the owners evacuated already, but imagine having to shut down your livelihood and then people leaving mock reviews of it while they take over.

Let me be clear: FUCK PUTIN 100% but remember regular people get swept up in the casualties on both sides

@aronow @randahl this is a good point. Post-Brexit and UK-soil Novichok events I default to FUCK PUTIN perhaps a little too much
@randahl
A while ago a reporter on the new said that he noticed Russians were getting confused because they now realise they're actually in a war. Yeah. You're at war. With Ukraine. And have been for two and half years.
@randahl
Sadly (or luckily - idk), Putin doesn't use the Internet. Like at all. Everything he needs to know he receives as printed materials.
@randahl "Since this restaurant has moved to Ukraine, the quality of food improved" #google
@randahl lol, you can see it already. This guy is complaining that the waiters don't speak Ukrainian
