I talked to a Republican friend this weekend. He admitted that Harris scared him. I wasn't able to get him to clearly tell me what he was scared of but he was scared. He is an old school Republican. When asked he admitted that there are no more actual "Republicans" running but he is scared of Harris. I'll have to continue to unpack this with him.

@Jfillian @Wileymiller @GottaLaff I'll tell you why they're scared: they can feel the power (the same way it happened with Obama) and they cannot stand the fact that they're gonna have a woman of color POTUS. They just cannot stomach it. Even the "I'm not racist" ones... When Obama was elected the day after the election was a workday (I think a monday but not sure)

and I was working for a very conservative organization. I mean VERY. Out of the 1000 emplyees there were 3 blue dots. The day after he was elected I showed up at the office as usual right? And for some reason I didn't run into the usual people on my way to my office. I found that strange... I walked around a virtual empty floor, went down 1 floor, just about empty as well... I was confused.
