@gwynnion But I feel that this is the problem in almost any span of politics, it is hard for "kind, caring" people to make it, it is a battle, a fight to power, and hence "regular neurotypical people" are the successful ones, no matter the party.
They are not the one that will understand or even really care much for gender queer peeps, they will not understand people suffering from lack of energy, etc.
That's why you get this, a political family where the "regular hard working men" clim the ranks, while the daughter, that would be someone that could make a real difference, was beaten by the system.
We don't get people that care because the political arena is built for people that can "ignore suffering" when needed, that can "take the difficult choises", basically meaning, be ok that someone will suffer, because "you cannot please everyone".
