Heidi Li Feldman#MastodonForHarris has passed $183,000. If/when we hit the $200,000 mark, I am going to contact #ActBlue directly to request/suggest a share to mastodon button for the platform. In the meantime, I might be able to add one just to our page, if this can be done with simple html. I’m not a coder. If you are please dm me simple html code for a “Share to Mastodon” button and I will see what I can do. Please boost this cry for help 🤣.

@wdhughes On the thanks and receipt part of the ActBlue page I linked I can insert my own bit of simple htlm code. Can that be used to create a share button that would appear on the thanks screen?
@heidilifeldman for sure I would guess you'd have to have a link to the picture you'd want to use as the button. I know how to embed pics and do normal links to other websites but you'd probably want to to launch a person's #Mastodon app if they're on mobile I'd have to look that up. If someone else s little more hip to modern #HTML can help, definitely don't wait for me, but I'll take a look after dinner when I get on my actual PC.

Interesting to note the first condition that donors must be US people. I seem to recall Russia giving a ton of money to the NRA, who then proxied that money into Trump’s war chest. Guess that was illegal?
